Frequently Asked Questions about the Teardrop Eye Sign
What does the Teardrop Eye Neon LED Sign show?
The Teardrop Eye sign shows an eye – a glowing white outline with a glowing blue iris and highlight, shedding a blue tear – as a glowing neon motif, handcrafted on 6 mm (1/4") acrylic glass.
Which room does the Teardrop Eye sign suit?
Ideal for living rooms & bedrooms in an expressive street-art style. In darker rooms the neon really comes into its own.
How big is the Teardrop Eye sign exactly?
Approx. 30 to 70 cm (12" to 28") along the longest edge – from the width of an A4 sheet to a full arm's length. The exact sizes and the connection for each version are listed in the technical details.
Is the Teardrop Eye sign suitable for commercial use?
Yes. Thanks to 6 mm (1/4") acrylic glass and durable LED technology, the sign is built as permanent counter or shop-window decor – even in daily use over years.
Does the Teardrop Eye sign make a good gift?
Yes – a premium, handcrafted gift for art lovers & romantics. Made entirely by hand, so every piece is truly one of a kind.
Which interior style does the Teardrop Eye sign fit?
Perfect with living rooms, bedrooms, tattoo studios and lofts. The glowing neon motif sets deliberate accents and becomes the eye-catcher of the room.
How do I mount the neon LED sign?
Two ways: with the included hanging chain or with screws & wall plugs straight onto the wall. More options in our Mounting & Installation Collection.
What power source do I need?
That depends on the size. The 30 and 40 cm versions run on USB (5V) – any phone charger, a laptop or a power bank is enough; the cable is 2 m (6.6 ft) long and white, including an inline dimmer with 9 brightness levels and an on/off switch. The 50, 60 and 70 cm sizes run off the included 12V power adapter from a normal 230V socket, including a dimmer remote with 10 brightness levels, timer and flash modes.
How long do LED neon signs last?
Up to 50,000 operating hours – at 6 hours a day that is more than 20 years.
Do the signs get hot in operation?
No. LED neon produces only minimal heat – the signs stay pleasantly cool.
What is the difference between LED neon and real glass neon?
LED neon is shatterproof, up to 80 % more energy-efficient, lighter, non-toxic and dimmable on top.
Can I run the sign 24/7?
Yes. Our LED neon signs are built for continuous operation. They draw just a few watts – running one around the clock costs only cents per day.
Are the signs suitable for outdoor use?
No. Protection rating IP20 – for indoor use only.
How do I clean the sign?
Unplug it before cleaning. Wipe very gently with a clean, dust-free cloth and a little glass cleaner – and do not press down hard, or you may scratch the acrylic.
How long does delivery take?
Every sign is made by hand once your order comes in. Delivery time 6–14 days (production + shipping).
Is there a warranty and a right of return?
Yes. 14-day returns plus a 2-year warranty. Contact: support@loveledlights.com.
